What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
His background matters. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
